Track Day Survival & Technical Advisory Notes
Right-hand corner oil pressure: High lateral-G sustained right turns (e.g., Turn 17 Sebring, Turn 2 Road Atlanta) can exhibit momentary oil pressure dips. Overfill oil by 0.5 - 0.75 quart and install an aftermarket oil pan baffle.
Oil cooler: The FA24 engine runs high oil temperatures (260°F+) on track without an auxiliary cooler. Install a thermostatic 19-row oil cooler before running Advanced groups.
